I’m not discounting the fact that that does indeed happen, it does; but they also forget: it happens to girls too. They do it to us as well! Some of those very same guy friends, who constantly whine about ‘not being noticed’ by a popular or ultra-pretty girl haven’t even given ME a chance! I’ve been there for my best guy friends, listened to them, spent time with them, and I’d love to start a relationship with almost any one of them, but it’s like the don’t even see me. They’re using my listening ear and shoulder of friendship for support while they gather the courage to go catch that  other girl. The one who looks perfect, acts perfect and has all the right girl-airs to catch guys. It’s not right. story of my life.
